How to Migrate Your WordPress Website to Bluehost for FREE (Tutorial)

-> Bluehost Offer: https://bluehost.sjv.io/rnKYPv

The first step is to login inside your WordPress admin and install a migration plugin. Go to “Plugins”, “Add New Plugin” and search for “All in One WP Migration and Backup”. Then click “Install Now” and “Activate”.

After that go to the left sidebar and click on “All in One WP Migration and Backup”, “Export”. Click the green button “Export to” and select “File”. Please wait a few moments while the file-gathering process completes. Once it’s done, click on the green button to download the archive.

The second step is to choose a new hosting provider. We recommend Bluehost. At the moment they run a Black Friday campaign and you can get the Basic plan for just $1.99 per month. Here’s the link with the offer: https://bluehost.sjv.io/rnKYPv

The next step is to update your domain’s nameservers. Please log in to the platform where you purchased the domain and update the nameservers to point to Bluehost or the hosting provider of your choice. For Bluehost, the nameservers are typically ns1.bluehost.com and ns2.bluehost.com, but they may vary based on your specific account. To confirm, please review your account details or contact Bluehost’s support team for assistance. If necessary, please refer to the tutorials on Bluehost for step-by-step guidance on updating your nameservers independently.

Once the domain nameservers are successfully connected with your new hosting provider, please install a fresh instance of WordPress and login inside the admin dashboard. From there, go to “Plugins”, “Add New Plugin” and search for “All in One WP Migration and Backup”. Then click “Install Now” and “Activate”. After that go to the left sidebar and click on “All in One WP Migration and Backup”, “Import”. Click on the green button “Import From”, “File” and select the file that you have prepared during step one. If the file exceeds the maximum upload size, please contact your hosting provider to request an increase in the limit or consider purchasing an extension from the plugin developers.

Once you manage to upload the file, you will see a notification. Click on “Proceed”. After a few minutes you will also see that the import was successful and you will just have to click on the “Finish” button and start using your website under the new hosting provider.

The final step is to configure your email hosting preferences. If your email address uses your company’s domain, please re-register it to ensure proper setup.
